The Best (ALMOST Raw) Chocolate smoothie ever! Rawr!

So, I was craving something SWEET tonight, but of course knowing me it had to be somewhat healthy too right! Keeping on that track, it of course had to be chocolate as well (duh). So what'd i do? I headed to the vita-mixer and...Made the best chocolate smoothie EVER! I know, i say everything is the best ever, but you know what, it's cuz it is! =)

Here's the Low-down:

my Almost Raw Chocolate Smoothie-

1 Tbsp. coconut oil
2 Tbsp. organic coconut flakes
2 Tbsp. raw cacao powder
1Tbsp. raw cacao nibs (optional, i like the extra chocolate chips in it)
agave syrup (eyeball it to suit your pallet)
1 scoop Jay Robb vanilla 100% whey powder (stevia sweetened naturally)

Add it all and Mix it up for,... oh 30 seconds. Add 4-5 ice cubes and mix again!

Then sip cacao bliss.........nirvana.

What's in your medicine war chest? The FIVE BEST??

(NaturalNews) This is a special report the FDA doesn't want you to read. In fact, this is the story that the corporate "leaders" of the natural health products industry don't want you to read, either. Why? Because they've all been hijacked by Big Pharma interests, and they no longer represent real natural medicine like the kind revealed in this story.
Knowledge is a dangerous thing. It gives people options. It allows people to be independent from the government and independent from the medical system. It gives people control over their own lives, and in a police state society that seeks to dominate the health decisions of every citizen (http://www.naturalnews.com/026305.html), giving people control over their own lives simply cannot be tolerated.
And what's so dangerous about this article? It dares to advocate specific anti-viral products as protection against the H1N1 swine flu.

Resistance is NOT Futile! Resist, Resist, Resist!

Global Research 13 June: It looks like governments around the world will either force these vaccinations on the public or launch a massive propaganda campaign to trick you into submitting to a jab. If they attempt to force these untested and essentially experimental vaccinations on you, cite the Nuremberg Code, which states: “The voluntary consent of the human subject is essential.” No experimental vaccine should be “conducted where there is an a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur, except, perhaps, in those experiments where the experimental physicians also serve as a subjects.

An amazing(ly) easy, Gourmet Veggie Burger!

I thought I'd try a new approach on the sometimes *yawn* boring veggie burger. I usually dislike most veg burgers i try, and usually avoid them. BUT, the ONLY one i think is FANTASTIC is AMY's Veggie Quarter Pounders. These babies taste amazing and have a whopping 21 grams of protein which is about the same as a chicken breast. So give 'em a go and try this recipe to mix it up a bit! Enjoy!

EASY Gourmet Veggie Burger-

1 Amy's Veggie Quarter Pounder
1 Ezekiel sprouted grain hamburger roll
1 handful of baby spinach
1 handful of arugula
3 shiitake mushrooms
sliced avocado 3-4 pieces
1 slice of organic white cheddar (optional)

In a small sauté pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil and heat over medium-low flame. Add shiitake, arugula and spinach. Cover and Sauté until greens are wilted and mushrooms are tender. Remember to stir them while cooking! Remove and place on a plate.
Add a little more oil to the pan and place in the veggie burger. Cover and brown on both side and heat till warm, DON'T overcook it, it's not meat! Add the cheese on at this point if you want it. Remove from heat.

Toast the bun in your toaster or toaster oven, and place burger on, sauteed veggies and sliced avocado on top.

then... EAT IT! =)
