Unfortunately, i can guarantee you that a third of the 'Do' list cannot be found within 200 miles from where I live. I'm in the south, where you're condemned to Hell for saying 'hemp seed milk'. And i'm sure the thought of consuming it would probably warrant a few laughs and looks of confusion. The diet down here is deplorable, much like most of the nation. WE HAVE DEEP-FRIED MACARONI AND CHEESE...need I say more? In the past year i've been changing my eating habits and trying to influence my friends and family. I don't microwave anything and i try to stick to fruits, veggies (lots of greens), some poultry, and fish. I feel that America has turned food into another one of 'life's pleasures'- not one of life's functions. Either the FDA is trying to kill us or many of us are (unknowingly) killing ourselves. I really want to thank you for putting this information out like this. It means a lot to care so much about the well-being of people you don't know. I'm sure in Santa Monica you have the resources to live a truly healthy lifestyle, but in the south, other than most metropolitan areas, there are entire zip codes that have never even heard of half the items you listed. Keep up the great work. I gotta go to sleep now :)

Thanks Man.

Sounds like you are doing your best which is all any of us can do. Yes, it is trickier in certain places than others to find more healthful and vegetarian food items and resturants.

But, stick with the veggies, fruits, nuts and things you can find where youre at. Also, look into some whole food supplements, you can get them very affordably on Ebay, as thats where I get mine.

Look for brands like Garden of Life and Surce Naturals.

Good Luck and Good Health!
